Located in Piedmont, SC about 10 miles south of downtown Greenville, this loan finances the acquisition and development of 367 single-family lots. Considered the economic engine of South Carolina, Greenville County’s strong employment prospects, skilled workforce, low cost of living, and business-friendly environment plays a major role in businesses locating to the area. Since 2023, the Greenville Area Development Corporation (GADC) has announced over $1.1 billion in new capital investments from expanding and relocating employers, anticipated to create over 2,100 jobs. The loan was finalized in July 2024.
